Our Member Spotlight for the month of September is Veronica Janice with VG Creatives, LLC

Creating and launching a business during a pandemic was difficult at best however, with perseverance, dedication, and a commitment to producing top quality products which will prevent injuries and save lives from airborne shade hazards, VG Creatives is poised to become known worldwide. The successes I measure are the forward momentum and opportunities being presented with our products. One such opportunity was in early August with the Gator Jawn being submitted to QVC which we are currently still hopeful to get a positive response after a zoom pitch went disastrous with my sound cutting out during the pitch. We are also now in talks with Lowes stores having the Gator Jawn, the Jawn-it-ALL and our Ground Stakes submitted for a program they call "Making it with Lowes" The product samples have been submitted at their request and are actively being reviewed by the buyers.

Who do you want to work with / Who is your target audience?

We are currently shipping products DTC (direct to Consumer through Amazon, Walmart.com, & eBay. My target audience are outdoor enthusiasts, At Home events, Beach goers, Camping, survivalists, racing circuit, recreational sports fields such as your children's field games where protection from not only the sun is needed but winds and rail as well. We are moving from the DTC marketplace into the retailer marketplace. I am currently in talks with Lowes through the "Making it with Lowes? campaign they are running for new product searches. I would like to get my products in more retail stores as a wholesaler.

What separates your business from the competition?

The background I have in 40 years of Manufacturing, engineering and Product Development has given me the insight to design and manufacture the most robust and universal Secure Anchor System on the market at a very reasonable price. With just one product, our flagship, the Gator Jawn brand Jawn-it-All kit, you can secure any pole-based structure, including any size umbrella or Easy up, to at least FIVE different landscapes, is lightweight, adaptable, universal, and super tough. The competition uses either a single or at most dual-purpose anchoring capability for securing umbrellas with the dangers of a pointed screw type end, which takes effort to install. Our products are designed for easy of use and a confident worry-free experience for the day, days or weeks at a time.
